Wonderful pair of early 20th century / late 19th century Japanese Meiji period satsuma vases. Antique cobalt-ground Satsuma vases of rectangular form, each with four different panels depicting geishas and figural landscapes. Surrounding areas heavily gilded with geometric patterns and floral sprays all around. They stand just over 30cm high. In very nice antique condition, free from chips, cracks or repairs and with minimal wear to the gilding. With lots more to come. So do pop back!
